Role Overview
Estimator at El Seif Engineering Contracting. Full-time position.

Role Purpose
To execute estimation work in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with company policies, supporting the development of competitive bids and proposals across projects.
Key Responsibilities
Estimation & Bidding
- Accurately price bid document items including construction materials and services.
- Control the accuracy of bills of quantities.
- Conduct research and studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs for projects.
- Prepare and analyze project costs for tenders.
- Analyze and compile data on construction factors such as labor, materials, and special machinery requirements.
- Maintain the estimation database and ensure all tender prices are recorded.
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Review and analyze supplier quotations provided by the RFQ team.
- Validate quotation analysis and select the most appropriate and competitive prices for use in proposals.
- Manage relations with external parties that provide services feeding into proposal preparation.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Report to and support the Senior Estimator on all issues related to tendering.
- Coordinate closely with all Corporate Functions including Procurement, PMV, Contracts & Commercial, and others to ensure their effective contribution during proposal preparation.
Corporate Governance
- Support the development of KSA national employees across the team to support corporate objectives, Saudization targets, and knowledge dissemination culture to ensure optimal building of internal capabilities and maximize their performance.
- Conduct affairs with the highest standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety, and corporate governance.
- Ensure compliance with Code of Ethics policy and adoption of company values.
- Support systems implementation and ERP implementation where relevant.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Master's degree preferred).
- 3 years' experience in tendering in a comparable sized operation to ESEC.
- CCS Candy Experience is a must.
- Experience in the Middle East is a strong plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge in estimating and bidding.
- Knowledge in Project Management.
- Knowledge in QA/QC Management.
- Knowledge in data gathering and assessment.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suites.
- Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is preferred.
