Role Overview
Estimator at JASARA PMC. This is a detail-oriented position supporting project planning, budgeting, and financial viability across the organization's project portfolio.
Role Purpose
Prepare accurate cost estimates for various projects, analyze project plans, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure financial viability and successful project delivery aligned with JASARA PMC's mission and Vision 2030 initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Estimation & Cost Analysis
- Develop detailed cost estimates based on project scope and specifications.
- Analyze costs related to materials, labor, and equipment.
- Provide cost-related input during project reviews and meetings.
Planning & Collaboration
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather relevant information.
- Assist in preparing bids and proposals.
Process & Compliance
- Update and maintain cost databases and standard estimating procedures.
- Ensure estimates comply with company standards and policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimation in construction or related industries.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and costs.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
