Role Overview
ESH Supervisor at V2X, physically located in Kuwait in support of WEXMAC.

Role Purpose
Implement and assist with development of the WEXMAC Safety and Health Plan, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements and establishing safety inspection, compliance, and behavioral monitoring. Write and review technical reports and interact with middle management teams.
Key Responsibilities
Program Implementation
- Implement a standardized ESH program based on a Management System framework.
- Develop programs that exceed basic regulatory compliance through risk analysis.
- Establish and coordinate a complete ESH program across the organization.
Compliance & Permits
- Read and understand regulatory compliance requirements.
- Submit documentation required to operate under permits, including air, hazardous waste, and water permits.
Inspection & Monitoring
- Perform ESH inspections.
- Establish safety inspection, compliance, and behavioral monitoring processes.
Training & Performance
- Identify required training for employees in various operations.
- Perform and document training delivery.
- Document and submit monthly performance metrics.
Resources & Recognition
- Identify needed resources such as personal protective equipment.
- Budget for required resources.
- Implement employee reward and recognition program.
Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate with senior management, area supervisors, and regulators to implement a complete ESH program using manage-from-the-floor approach.
Qualifications & Experience
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or Biology; or Technical certification in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Industrial Safety, or Environmental Science/Management. One year of related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required.
- Must be able to obtain a Host Country Driver's License.
- Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a CAC.
Experience
- Minimum of five years of experience in environmental compliance, OSHA compliance, ISO experience, hazardous waste management, and pollution prevention.
- Knowledge of Overseas Environmental Baseline Guidance Document (OEBGD), Department of Defense (DoD) environmental regulations, and US Army Safety and Environmental Regulations, including Federal OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Supervisory/Leadership experience desired.
- Military background and training beneficial.
Skills & Competencies
- Instruct small and medium groups of people.
- Operate computers competently, including Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Work independently and as a member of a robust team.
- Manage others to complete assigned tasks.
Additional Information
Supervisory Responsibilities
- May supervise ESH specialists.
Working Conditions
- Capable of working in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions: hot, dry, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in winter and 130 degrees in summer months.
- May include industrial production environment conditions.
Physical Requirements
- Medium work: exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
- Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working in areas with potential exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) use required for some situations, including head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
- Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
