Role Overview

ER General Physician at Nahdi, providing emergency and primary care in a clinical setting.

Role Purpose

Diagnose and treat minor cases of illnesses, examine patients, take medical histories, prescribe medications, order and perform diagnostic tests, and refer complex cases to appropriate specialties.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Assessment & Documentation

• Assess patients and document findings.
• Examine patients and take medical histories.
• Order and review results of patients' investigations.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests.

Patient Education & Counseling

• Educate patients on their health condition, investigations required, treatment options and medication use.
• Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare related to their individual cases.

Treatment & Medication Management

• Prescribe medications for patients.
• Design and execute the patient's plan of care.

Specialty Referrals & Additional Services

• Refer cases requiring more investigation to appropriate specialties.
• Conduct video consultations.
• Perform vaccinations if applicable.
• Perform additional tasks based on specialty and clinical privileges.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in medicine from recognized universities or SCHS license.
• 1 year of clinical experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Office and Health Information Systems.
• English and Arabic (fluent speaking and writing).

Additional Information

• Work environment: 100% indoors.
• Working days: 6 days per week.
• Days off: 1 day per week.
• Working hours: 8 net working hours according to shift schedule approved by head of department.
• The employee's duties are not limited to the above-mentioned accountabilities; the manager can assign other duties based on business need.
