Role Overview
Equipment Supervisor at ABIS, responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and management of equipment used in projects.
Role Purpose
Ensure all equipment functions efficiently, coordinate maintenance schedules, supervise equipment operators and technicians, and maintain compliance with safety regulations. Work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and maintenance personnel to optimize equipment availability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Monitoring
- Supervise and manage daily equipment operations and maintenance activities.
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Identify equipment issues and implement solutions to enhance productivity and safety.
Maintenance & Planning
- Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and inspections.
Team & Leadership
- Manage and lead equipment operators and technicians, providing guidance and training as required.
Coordination & Logistics
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for equipment availability and spare parts.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment supervision, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance practices, safety regulations, and operational standards.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
