Role Overview
Environmental Test Technician at Loft Orbital Solutions. The role supports the testing and qualification of satellite hardware and spacecraft systems.
Role Purpose
To prepare hardware, configure test equipment, execute environmental test campaigns, and ensure test activities are completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with approved procedures. This role verifies that spacecraft hardware can withstand the conditions experienced during launch and operation in space.
Key Responsibilities
Test Execution & Hardware Preparation
- Support a range of environmental tests designed to verify spacecraft hardware performance.
- Prepare hardware for environmental testing.
- Configure test equipment for campaign execution.
- Execute environmental test campaigns.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and test teams.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure test activities are completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with approved procedures.
Skills & Competencies
- Hands-on technical aptitude with direct hardware and test equipment experience.
- Detail-oriented approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced technical environment.
