Enterprise Solution Architect - On Site - KSA - Octopus by RTG

Role Overview

Enterprise Solution Architect on-site position in KSA with Robusta (Octopus by RTG). The role translates business requirements and Enterprise Architecture principles into secure, scalable, and end-to-end technology solutions while ensuring alignment with organizational target architecture, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Role Purpose

Define solution architecture across application, data, integration, security, and infrastructure domains in collaboration with cross-functional architecture teams to support transformation, modernization, and application rationalization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

• Design end-to-end solution architecture across business, application, data, integration, security, and infrastructure domains.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and practical technology solutions.
• Define current-state and target-state solution architecture and identify architectural gaps.
• Define application components, integrations, APIs, interfaces, and dependencies.
• Ensure interoperability between existing and new systems.

Architecture Governance & Compliance

• Ensure proposed solutions align with Enterprise Architecture, standards, and target architecture.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, technology, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
• Participate in architecture governance and monitor compliance with approved architecture.
• Maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, standards, and architecture decision records.

Evaluation & Risk Management

• Evaluate technology and solution options and provide architecture recommendations.
• Review solution designs and provide architecture recommendations and approvals.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, constraints, and potential impacts.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with Business Architects, Application Architects, Data Architects, Security Architects, Infrastructure Architects, and technical teams.
• Support modernization, transformation, and application rationalization initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years total experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or related roles.
• Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
• Experience working in a SAMA-regulated environment is an advantage.
• Strong experience in designing end-to-end technology solutions.
• Experience with APIs, integration patterns, interfaces, and distributed systems.
• Experience evaluating technology options and performing architecture assessments.
• Experience identifying architectural risks, dependencies, and gaps.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of application, data, integration, security, and infrastructure architecture.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles, standards, and governance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architecture, or similar certification is preferred.
