Role Overview
Engineering Policies, Standards and Guidelines Engineer at JASARA PMC. This role shapes and maintains the engineering policies and standards that govern project deliveries.
Role Purpose
Ensure that engineering practices are compliant with local and international regulations and aligned with industry best practices. Develop, review, and update engineering policies and guidelines, coordinate with stakeholders, and track compliance to maintain the highest quality standards in all engineering deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Policy Development and Maintenance
- Develop and maintain engineering policies, standards, and guidelines in alignment with project requirements and industry benchmarks.
- Conduct research and analysis on best practices in engineering to continuously improve policies.
- Review and incorporate government regulations and international guidelines into engineering practices.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to communicate updates and gather feedback on policies.
- Participate actively in training sessions and workshops to promote policy awareness and compliance.
Compliance Tracking
- Track and report on compliance with established engineering policies and standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in engineering standards and policy development.
- Strong understanding of engineering processes, codes, and standards.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in technical writing and documentation.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and communication.
- Ability to analyze complex information and provide actionable recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
