Role Purpose
Improve manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and high-quality output while actively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement to boost productivity and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning and Coordination
- Plan and coordinate daily production processes to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products.
- Monitor and control Production Work in Progress (WIP) and sub-store inventory.
Process Improvement
- Lead efforts to improve processes, optimizing equipment and materials for increased production efficiency.
- Formulate and implement best practices to enhance production capacity, quality, and reliability.
Engineering Support
- Provide essential engineering support for production and maintenance activities to maintain operational efficiency.
Production Evaluation and Recommendations
- Assess ongoing production activities and offer recommendations for improvements.
- Investigate issues, identify root causes, and suggest effective solutions.
- Solve problems that arise and escalate complex operational issues.
Cost Reduction and Quality Standards
- Implement initiatives to reduce costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Develop clear operating instructions and equipment specifications for streamlined production.
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products, processes, or related activities.
Training and Development
- Provide training and guidance to team members, supporting their growth and contributing to production goals.
Continuous Improvement and Compliance
- Participate in 5S processes and procedures, collaborating with the safety in-charge.
- Stay updated on product specifications, engineering technology, and latest production processes.
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
- Comply with related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Health, Safety, and Environment
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products and services.
Delivery and Reporting
- Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide periodic reports detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- 4 to 6 years of work experience.
