Role Overview
Engineer, Lab (Cementing) at ADNOC. The role is based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Role Purpose
Develop, qualify and monitor stimulation chemicals and fluid systems in line with ADNOC requirements. Success depends on technical competence, HSE excellence, customer focus and operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Development and Qualification
- Develop stimulation chemicals and fluid systems to meet ADNOC specifications.
- Qualify chemical and fluid formulations for operational deployment.
- Monitor performance of stimulation chemicals and fluid systems in use.
HSE and Compliance
- Maintain HSE excellence across all laboratory and technical activities.
- Ensure full HSE compliance in chemical handling, testing and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant Engineering or Science degree or diploma.
- H2S certification preferred.
- First Aid certification preferred.
- Role-specific training preferred.
- Functional experience in well intervention or stimulation service providers such as Halliburton, SLB, Baker Hughes, Weatherford, NESR, ADNOC Drilling or similar organizations.
Skills & Competencies
- Technical expertise in cementing and lab discipline.
- Well intervention and stimulation knowledge.
- HSE compliance awareness and practice.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- English communication.
