Engineer, Integrity (MERAM - Integrity Team - Habshan 5 & Sulphur)

Role Overview

Engineer, Integrity at ADNOC, MERAM - Integrity Team, located in Habshan 5 & Sulphur.

Role Purpose

Coordinate and update all integrity-related procedures and monitor the facilities Integrity Management Plan through the dedicated Integrity Management System (IMS) in compliance with KPIs. Assist in implementing the company Asset Integrity Policy and Framework for maintenance and inspection, and provide technical integrity input.

Key Responsibilities

Integrity Management System

• Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of the Integrity Management System (IMS) database and applications.
• Participate in the development and maintain a system and procedures for IMS implementation, reporting, and auditing.
• Coordinate the issuance and regular review and update of the written Integrity Management Plan (IMP) for all facilities through the Integrity Management System software solution.
• Coordinate implementation of the Plan (IMP) and evaluate its effectiveness through verifications or audits.
• Ensure regular updates of the required procedures for implementing the IMS solution.
• Establish consistent integrity reporting formats and interface with other disciplines to resolve data interpretation challenges.
• Coordinate the issuance of quarterly Integrity reports for Management & Shareholders.
• Coordinate the gathering of data for the Division's weekly integrity report.

Data Management & Coordination

• Coordinate between the Integrity unit and Maintenance, Inspection, and Operations for data gathering and data quality checks before updating to the database.
• Coordinate risk assessments and threat analysis reviews for assigned pipeline segments to update the IMS technical reference manuals.

Asset Integrity & Inspection

• Ensure Integrity requirements for all new plants, equipment, and structures to be installed in the assigned fields.
• Ensure compatibility with required specifications prior to dispatch to site.
• Inspect, initiate, and prepare technical reports on all kinds of plants and equipment to be installed in the assigned field.
• Monitor proactively the technical integrity of plant equipment by systematic follow-up.
• Highlight to the Operating Authority inspection overdue items, critical outstanding recommendations, and plant failures.

Issue Resolution & Risk Management

• Identify integrity-related issues and coordinate their resolution internally or externally.
• Identify additional preventative and mitigate measures.
• Determine IMP re-assessment intervals and methods for all assets.
• Follow up implementation of approved recommendations through site visits to ensure that all activities at various stages are carried out according to approved recommendations.

Studies, Analysis & Auditing

• Participate in HAZOP studies involving new electrical equipment and comment on the feasibility of proper integrity assurance of the asset through proper access to inspection areas.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of incidents.
• Participate in or facilitate Audits as per the Framework.
• Track audit action items and ensure that audit recommendations have been completed and closed out in coordination with concerned Departments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering Discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience.
• Professional Certifications as applicable.
