Role Overview
Engineer II, Production Planning at Tasnee, located in Jubail.
Role Purpose
Prepare Production Plans in collaboration with supply chain, marketing, and operations teams across Polymer and Chemical assets. Foster and balance decision-making for all stakeholders through the Sales and Operation Planning Process (S&OP) to ensure optimum levels of production.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Stakeholder Communication
- Illustrate Polymer and Chemical production planning to all stakeholders to ensure Yearly Grade-Wise Split aligns with business needs and the Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) process framework.
- Monitor Joint Venture off-takers at the appropriate level to support execution and ensure smooth flow resulting in S&OP compliance and accuracy of supply-demand for products.
- Collaborate and align with stakeholders to define and execute common business processes and objectives that benefit the Joint Ventures.
Compliance & Performance Monitoring
- Monitor and maintain off-takers performance and compliance as per Off-Take Agreements (OTA).
- Monitor Joint Venture customer complaints process to ensure maximum customer satisfaction while maintaining process efficiency.
- Track, maintain, analyze, and provide S&OP compliance and supply accuracy of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Systems & Data Management
- Maintain IBP module in SAP and ensure all required production data is entered accurately and on a timely basis.
- Provide analysis and data reports to management and other departments.
- Assist in determining financial methods and prepare statistical reports.
Planning & Budget Alignment
- Monitor day-to-day Planning & Scheduling activities to achieve high performance results and meet established targets and objectives.
- Align SBU PetChem budget cycle between Manufacturing and business at grade-wise level.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 2 years of experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge in Petrochemical sector.
- Critical and analytical thinking skills.
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Software skills: MS Office, SAP system, IBP system.
