Role Overview
Engineer, Business Planning at Tasnee, located in Jubail.

Role Purpose
Manage inventory, forecast production and sales, coordinate with suppliers and customers, maintain operational databases, and support management decision-making through financial analysis and strategic planning presentations to optimize capacity utilization and business profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Forecasting
- Prepare forecasts in coordination with raw material and utilities suppliers and olefins buyers on an ongoing basis to ensure optimal capacity planning.
- Propose annual business plan contributions to management.
- Support plant with tolling forecast and coordination with all parties.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate and liaise with Government Departments, private parties, and neighboring companies in relation to raw material and feedstock supplies, utilities, and forecast of business requirements.
Operations & Database Management
- Update department database and master sheets on production, consumption, sales, and other performance indicators on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Communicate database updates to other department users on a regular basis.
- Maintain department database.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Prepare and review prices with pipeline sales quantity for month-end closing.
- Prepare and review Supply Agreements for Utilities, Raw Material, and pipeline sales.
- Develop and monitor the Economic model and olefin inventory management to facilitate management decision-making for overall profitability.
Reporting & Analysis
- Work with other team members to prepare high-level management presentations, charts, reports, and analysis as requested by the department and according to priority.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products or service, and a responsible environmental attitude.
General Duties
- Participate on a rotation basis with other team members in on-call duty and Eid holiday coverage to complete and coordinate emergency and critical tasks.
- Perform other duties or assignments as directed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of related experience, preferably within the petrochemical industry.
