Engagement Manager (10 Months Contract) -On-site Makkah, Saudi Arabia - Octopus

Role Overview

Engagement Manager (10 Months Contract) with Robusta, based on-site in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, 10–12 month contract role.

Role Purpose

Lead the day-to-day delivery of a high-impact client engagement, serving as the primary client contact while ensuring seamless coordination across multiple workstreams, driving project governance, and delivering successful outcomes in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary point of contact for the client and own day-to-day project delivery.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships and maintain clear communication throughout the engagement.
• Ensure alignment between client expectations, delivery teams, partner outputs, and project objectives.

Program Coordination & Delivery

• Lead and coordinate delivery across three parallel workstreams, including third-party partner-managed streams and a core software delivery workstream.
• Develop and manage the overall project delivery plan, ensuring milestones and timelines are met.

Governance & Reporting

• Facilitate governance meetings, project status updates, and executive progress reporting.
• Track actions, dependencies, risks, and issues, escalating where appropriate.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in Engagement Management, Program Management, Project Management, or Management Consulting.
• Proven experience managing complex, client-facing projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working with software delivery teams and third-party vendors is highly preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong project planning, coordination, governance, risk management, and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
