Role Overview
Project Engineer at Majid Al Futtaim. The role supports the Development Business Unit, assisting Senior and Project Managers with technical aspects across a portfolio of projects and reporting on project progress.
Role Purpose
To provide technical support across design and construction stages of development projects, assist in preparing progress documentation, and collaborate with the delivery team to ensure projects meet requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support & Coordination
- Support the Delivery Team in preparing project status updates.
- Schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned tasks.
- Prepare overall progress reports for the project.
Stakeholder & Consultant Management
- Interact daily with consultants and contractors to ensure project requirements are met and timelines are adhered to.
- Collaborate effectively with the Senior Project Manager and project participants to provide technical support.
Technical Review & Quality Assurance
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor project aspects including time, quality, safety, and sustainability, while minimizing delays.
Project Strategy & Delivery
- Assist in developing strategies for successful project delivery, focusing on design, construction, and maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience.
- Background as an engineering graduate with basic experience in preparing progress for projects during design and construction stages.
