Role Overview
Emirati Engineering Associate at Johnson Controls in the United Arab Emirates. This role is part of the Emirati Engineering Program, a two-year fast-track initiative designed to develop future leaders in engineering and technical sales across the Middle East and Africa.

Role Purpose
Develop engineering and technical sales expertise through six structured assignments over two years, gaining hands-on experience in Installation and Service Operations and Technical Sales while building a foundation for leadership roles within Johnson Controls.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and Service Operations
- Grasp engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications to support technical work.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to resolve operational problems.
- Set up and calibrate systems as part of equipment installation.
- Conduct routine checks and repairs to maintain equipment functionality.
- Communicate technical solutions clearly to customers and stakeholders.
- Engage with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams on collaborative projects.
Technical Sales
- Understand the specifications and benefits of Johnson Controls offerings.
- Build and nurture client relationships through consistent engagement.
- Simplify complex concepts for non-technical customers in presentations and communications.
- Close sales deals with confidence through effective negotiation.
- Identify client needs and industry trends through market analysis.
- Craft tailored solutions addressing specific customer requirements.
- Understand pricing models and conduct competitor analysis to support sales strategy.
- Work seamlessly with marketing, engineering, and customer support teams.
Program Engagement
- Participate in six assignments over two years focusing on key technical areas.
- Contribute hands-on to projects that impact the business.
- Meet clients across the region through customer-facing experiences.
- Access a diverse network of talented professionals and business leaders.
- Pursue opportunities to positively influence the environment and contribute to sustainability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Sustainability Engineering, or related fields.
- Must be a UAE national with a family book.
- Previous internship experience in related fields is a plus.
