ELV & ACS Engineer

Role Overview

ELV & ACS Engineer at White Spot Facilities Management. This role manages the installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of Access Control Systems and CCTV infrastructure across commercial facilities.

Role Purpose

To install, commission, and maintain Access Control Systems, CCTV networks, and structured cabling infrastructure while ensuring system integrity, security compliance, and operational continuity across large commercial office complexes.

Key Responsibilities

Access Control Systems

• Install, configure, and commission Access Control Systems including Honeywell, Hikvision, and ZKteco platforms.
• Integrate Access Control Systems with gate barriers, ANPR, Fire and Safety systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive servicing of Access Control systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system faults.
• Identify areas requiring Access Control Systems and CCTV monitoring.

CCTV & Surveillance

• Install, repair, and maintain CCTV cameras.
• Monitor premises of large commercial office complexes with CCTV networks.
• Work with CCTV brands including Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, and Hanwha.

Infrastructure & Cabling

• Execute structural cabling, copper patching, IDF and MDF preparation.
• Execute cable runs for CAT 5, CAT 5e, CAT 6, and fiber optic cables with precision.
• Utilize network testing equipment, including Fluke testers, to verify installation integrity.

Documentation & Maintenance

• Keep maintenance and repair records for security equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical field (preferred).
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Access Control Systems and CCTV.
• Valid driving license (required).

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of electrical wiring, control panels, software applications, and fault rectification.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with Access Control System brands including Hikvision, Dahua, Honeywell, and ZKteco.
• Ability to use testing tools including multi-meter, cable tester, and OTDR (advantage).
• Networking knowledge (advantage).
