Role Overview
Electronic Technician at Cubic Defense. This position supports the Royal Saudi Air Force F15C/D Air Combat Maneuver & Instrumentation (ACMI) program and is based with the Royal Saudi Air Force.

Role Purpose
The Electronics Technician provides operation and maintenance support for P-4 SAKITS pods in accordance with applicable documentation. The role reports to the Site Manager, works directly with two Field Service Technicians, and operates independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Pod Maintenance and Tracking
- Maintain a log containing serial number, pod type, date, time, and remarks for all P-4 SAKITS pods checked in and out of the pod shop.
- Maintain a daily status and availability log on all P-4 SAKITS pods.
- Maintain a record of elapsed Time Meter readings on a monthly basis and determine each pod's operational time for the month.
- Operate and maintain the P-4 SAKITS Test Set in accordance with applicable technical documentation.
- Perform Organizational-Level (O-Level) and Intermediate-Level (I-Level) maintenance tests and replacement of Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs) on P-4 SAKITS pods.
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of display equipment as required.
Computer Operations and Data Management
- Load programs for operation and test.
- Perform subsystem tests to assess operational readiness.
- Load all pre-mission exercise data into the Data Transfer Device (DTD).
- Maintain a control log of DTD issue to and receipt from aircrews.
- Maintain and store records of mission tapes.
Exercise and Mission Support
- Operate graphics terminals during live exercises.
- Assist with display and control operations.
- Provide technical assistance to RSAF or aircrews in setting up for replay and debriefing.
- Maintain a mission event log with specific, concise, and pertinent data entered under the following headings: date, time, mission/event, remarks, and operator.
- Interface directly with the RSAF regarding mission sortie effectiveness.
General Operations
- Perform additional operations duties as directed by the Site Supervisor.
- Support the setup of project equipment when required.
- Work as one team and support colleagues with their duties to ensure successful provision of service to the customer.
- Comply with Cubic's values and adherence to all company policies and procedures, including code of conduct, quality, security, and occupational health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by the manager from time to time as may be reasonably required.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- College qualification in a technical-related field or equivalent technical education and military experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Ability to comply with company standard practice as it applies to field assignments.
- Ability to adapt to a remote and/or foreign environment.
- Ability to obtain or currently holds RSAF security clearance with background check performed.
Desirable
- Certification of English Comprehension, Speaking, Reading and Writing by TOEFL or STEP Test or other KSA-recognized exam.
- Engineering Degree specializing in Electronics, Avionics or Communication.
