Role Purpose

Maintain and repair all mechanical, electrical, heating, and ventilation equipment within the hotel complex to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of building systems and guest services.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Maintain all M&E and HVAC equipment within the hotel complex with special emphasis on health and safety.
• Perform maintenance and repair works on all mechanical and electrical heating and ventilation equipment to ensure ongoing safe and efficient running of the hotel.
• Repair mains and domestic single and three-phase supplied distribution systems and all lighting and in-house power installations and appliances.
• Maintain control systems for M&E related processes including general equipment, televisions, hair dryers, shavers sockets, guest lifts, and service lifts.

Emergency Systems

• Assist with all emergency services including fire alarms, lighting, batteries, standby power requirements, and generators.

Technical Planning & Execution

• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret basic electrical schematics.
• Hands-on electrical control troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Knowledge of local and international codes is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety Hazard regulation is a must.

• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
