Role Purpose
Operate, repair, maintain and provide technical attention to inspect all major and minor electrical equipment, ensuring optimal system performance and energy efficiency across hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Maintenance
- Operate, maintain and repair all electrical equipment and systems including Fire Alarm, Motor Control Centers and electrical interconnectivity with third-party systems.
- Carry out daily checks on Lighting Control, Power System, Electrical Service Rooms (MV/LV), Energy Meters, Transformer Rooms, Fire Pump Rooms, Room Management System, Water Tank Systems and BMS System.
- Ensure all set parameters are maintained as desired for intended operation.
- Perform necessary adjustments to electrical equipment and systems.
Technical Support & Coordination
- Assist Fire Alarm contractors on scheduled maintenance and brief them on equipment condition.
- Attend to repair and maintain general mechanical systems.
- Advise improvements to present systems in order to optimize operating efficiency and economy.
Planning & Sustainability
- Assist supervisor to prepare spare parts lists for electrical equipment.
- Execute energy saving measures and help the department reduce energy cost.
- Participate in the Hotel Energy Conservation Program.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar field.
- Hotel experience is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Practical and theoretical skills in Electrical Systems.
- Conversant in English.
