Electrician (Coiled Tubing)

Role Overview

Electrician (Coiled Tubing) at ADNOC. This role is based at the company's operations location and involves the maintenance, repair, and testing of electronic equipment used in pressure pumping operations.

Role Purpose

Dismantle, repair, assemble and test various electronic equipment used in pressure pumping. The role exists to ensure all electronic systems operate safely and reliably through hands-on technical work, preventive maintenance, and compliance with operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Read and understand electronics drawings and circuits.
• Receive defective electronic equipment for repair.
• Analyse faults and order required materials for repair in consultation with the Mechanic.
• Perform overhauling of electronic equipment as needed.
• Perform function tests of repaired equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair activities of various equipment as instructed by the immediate supervisor.

Site Operations & Coordination

• Visit sites and locations for performing work as advised by the immediate supervisor.
• Cooperate with other sections during equipment trials.
• Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during and after executing jobs, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of work performed, materials used and time consumed on every job and communicate to the immediate supervisor.
• Collect technical data from the field as required and provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.
• Provide input for the preparation of Method statements and initiate Near Miss reports.

Compliance & Safety

• Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.
• Support the institution of an HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures and controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines across the Division in line with international standards, best practices and Corporate Code of Practices and to ensure integrity and safety of assets.

Resource Management

• Maintain all tools, safety gear and equipment provided by company safely and in working condition.
• Arrange for repair or replacement of any tools and safety gear that may not be in good working condition.

Time Management & Planning

• Carry out all maintenance jobs in line with assigned time standards.
• Inform the Maintenance Supervisor in case additional resources are required to carry out the job within the assigned time frame.

Continuous Improvement & Training

• Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in operating procedures, modification of functional processes, machinery or equipment.
• Provide on-the-job training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.
• Implement and comply with all relevant functional policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures to accomplish operational objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in technical field.
• 3 years' relevant experience.
• Fully conversant with company standards and operational procedures.
• Basic knowledge of spoken and written English.

Communications & Working Relationships

• Daily contact with immediate supervisor and other colleagues for daily work activities.
• Daily contact with personnel in stores area when drawing items from store.
