Role Purpose

To lead, supervise, and coordinate day-to-day instrument maintenance activities across all instrument systems, plant equipment, and facilities within a designated area of responsibility, serving as the focal point for daily instrument maintenance execution planning and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Coordination

• Lead and supervise technicians assigned to the designated area.
• Coordinate day-to-day instrument maintenance activities developed by technicians across all instrument systems, plant equipment, and facilities.
• Serve as the focal point for daily instrument maintenance execution planning.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure technicians comply with and apply SATORP's Safety and Quality procedures during instrument maintenance activities.
• Enforce SATORP's policies, procedures, and regulations on site.
• Ensure all safety measures and precautions are strictly considered and taken during onsite maintenance works.
• Demonstrate proactive safety aptitude and behavior.
• Ensure personnel have the skills, training, and all needed resources, equipment, and tools to conduct routine maintenance activities in a safe and effective manner according to contract terms and conditions.

Work Execution & Progress Management

• Conduct frequent site visits to ensure proper execution of work and verify technician engagement in routine maintenance activities.
• Receive work directions from the Instrument foreman relating to instrument systems maintenance orders and requests.
• Translate foreman directions into actions.
• Follow up on instrument maintenance work progress.
• Submit regular progress reports to the Instrument foreman with recommendations.
• Keep records of daily maintenance works against planned maintenance programs.
• Prepare work completion reports where applicable.

Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with the Instrument foreman in recommending and implementing changes aimed at improving the availability and reliability of instrument and instrument systems within the designated area.
• Assist in implementing engineering modifications and enhancements to instrument equipment.
• Make recommendations to increase the suitability and serviceability of instrument systems.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 6 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with High School qualification.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with Diploma qualification.
• Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to qualifications and competency to perform the works.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas facilities.
• Proven leadership skills within large organizations.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing instrument systems.
• Good knowledge of instrument equipment design, installation, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems.
• Good knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles and working procedures.
• Strong knowledge of standards, procedures, and regulations relating to Health, Safety, and Environmental preservation.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Good command of oral and written English.
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.

Additional Information

• Flexibility to travel internationally and live in KSA required.
