Role Overview
The Electrical Inspector at AtkinsRéalis is responsible for inspecting electrical installations and ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and safety standards. The role supports electrical system readiness, quality assurance, and integration with data centre infrastructure and critical systems.

Role Purpose
To inspect electrical systems and verify installation works against approved drawings, standards, and specifications while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and supporting electrical system readiness and quality assurance in mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Compliance
- Inspect electrical systems including power distribution, cabling, containment, earthing, and lighting.
- Verify electrical installation works against approved drawings, standards, and specifications.
- Ensure electrical works comply with safety standards and regulations.
Quality Assurance & Documentation
- Identify quality issues, prepare NCRs, and track closure of observations.
- Maintain inspection documentation, reports, and site records.
- Familiar with QA/QC procedures and inspection workflows.
Coordination & Integration
- Monitor installation of equipment such as panels, UPS systems, generators, and associated interfaces.
- Coordinate with OEM vendors and contractors for EFE/LLI systems integration.
- Review and respond to WIRs, MIRs, and RFIs within project timelines.
Testing & Commissioning
- Support electrical testing, commissioning activities, and IST readiness.
- Assist in snagging, punch list closure, and handover inspections.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in electrical inspection and installation supervision.
- Experience in mission-critical or data centre projects preferred.
- UPDA certification preferred.
- Knowledge of LV/MV systems, electrical infrastructure, and safety standards.
