Role Overview

Electrical Engineer at Retal in Saudi Arabia. This is a key technical position within the Real Estate & Property division, supporting residential and commercial development projects.

Role Purpose

Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems for residential and commercial development projects across Saudi Arabia, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant building infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning

• Design and plan electrical systems for new construction and renovation projects in accordance with Saudi Building Code and international standards
• Conduct site inspections and electrical load calculations to ensure optimal system performance and safety compliance
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for contractors and stakeholders

Coordination & Management

• Coordinate with architects, project managers, and construction teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into building designs
• Manage electrical contractors and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines

Technical Support

• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical solutions during installation and post-occupancy phases

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design for commercial or residential construction projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and project management practices

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with CAD software and electrical design tools
