Role Purpose

To supervise and manage the execution of electrical systems and infrastructure works on transportation projects, ensuring full compliance with design specifications, safety standards, TAQA requirements, and project delivery timelines while coordinating with utility authorities and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Systems Supervision

• Supervise electrical cable diversion, rerouting, and relocation works.
• Ensure proper cable protection measures during construction activities.
• Manage temporary and permanent power supply for road and infrastructure utilities.

Design & Technical Review

• Review method statements, material submittals, shop drawings, SLDs, and load schedules.
• Coordinate new electrical assets, feeder pillars, and service terminations as per TAQA standards.

Infrastructure Management

• Oversee substation relocation, shutdown coordination, and authority approvals.
• Supervise street lighting relocation, cable rerouting, and under-bridge lighting installations.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Monitor testing, commissioning, quality, and HSE compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, utilities, roads, or transportation projects.
• Strong experience in LV/MV/HV networks, substations, street lighting, and utility diversions.
• Experience coordinating with utility authorities and contractors.
