Role Overview
Electrical Engineer for Oil & Gas EPC Pipeline Projects with China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corp (CPECC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose
Lead electrical engineering and field installation activities for oil & gas EPC projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and Saudi Aramco specifications while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams on complex infrastructure delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Design & Documentation
- Review and approve electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and equipment layouts.
- Ensure ability to read single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and electrical drawings.
Installation & Commissioning
- Supervise installation and commissioning of HV/LV switchgear, transformers, MCC panels, and motors.
- Manage cable pulling, termination, and electrical testing activities.
- Conduct pre-commissioning, energization, and functional testing of electrical systems.
Standards & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco electrical standards (SAES-P series), IEC, and NEC codes.
- Apply knowledge of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES-P), IEC 60364, and IEEE.
- Ensure familiarity with hazardic area classification (ATEX/IECEx) requirements.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with instrumentation, piping, and civil teams for integrated execution.
- Interface with Saudi Aramco inspection and commissioning teams.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor electrical supervisors, foremen, and technicians.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in electrical construction and installation for oil & gas EPC projects.
- Proven experience on Saudi Aramco projects is a strong advantage.
- Strong experience with HV/LV power systems, earthing, lighting, and cathodic protection.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES-P), IEC 60364, and IEEE standards.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and technical problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English; Arabic or Chinese is a plus.
