E & I Construction Section Head

Role Overview

Construction Section Head (E&I) at Archirodon Group N.V, based on an Oil & Gas project in the United Arab Emirates.

Role Purpose

Lead the Electrical and Instrumentation construction section to ensure safe, compliant, and on-schedule execution of all E&I works. Coordinate with project stakeholders, manage crew resources, and maintain quality standards across all construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure crew education on HSE rules and full compliance across all operations.
• Create Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Functional Risk Assessments (FRAs) in coordination with the HSE Team.

Operations & Scheduling

• Ensure day-to-day operations are conducted in accordance with the daily construction plan and schedule.
• Coordinate with other project sections to achieve operational targets.
• Maintain and provide details of work progress.

Resource Management

• Ensure required resources are available on time.
• Request necessary resources, materials and tools in a timely manner.
• Identify problems and resolve them.

Technical & Quality Assurance

• Provide required technical documentation to the team.
• Ensure work is performed at required quality standards.
• Have experience with Testing and Commissioning procedures.

Stakeholder Management

• Deal with the Client's representative at Site.

General Duties

• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Section Head or Senior Engineer role on Oil & Gas projects.
• Middle East experience preferred.
• Experience in installation of Cable, CCTV (or Telecom), Fire Fighting System, Fire and Gas Detection, Linear Head Detector, Flame Detector, Control Systems (ICSS and ESD) and other Electrical and Instrumentation related works.

Skills & Competencies

• Good command of English, both oral and written.
• Ability to write method statements.
• Experience with Testing and Commissioning procedures.
