Role Overview
E and I QC Engineer with Archirodon Group N.V, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Role Purpose
To provide quality assurance and inspection oversight for Electrical and Instrumentation works across all project phases—from design and procurement through construction to final handover—ensuring compliance with project quality requirements and maintaining comprehensive quality documentation and records.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation & Compliance
- Assist in the preparation of quality documentation, including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Review construction documents for compliance with project quality requirements related to E&I works.
- Prepare, file and maintain test, inspection records and all other quality records generated related to E&I works.
- Assist in the preparation of final documents for certification.
Monitoring & Implementation
- Monitor all phases and processes required for the effective completion of all E&I and Telecom work, including design, procurement, construction and final handover.
- Monitor the implementation of Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans related to E&I works.
- Ensure all necessary records are generated in a timely manner within the area of assigned responsibility.
- Monitor the close out of punch lists established for incomplete E&I works.
- Monitor all measurement and testing instruments employed for E&I works to ensure they are functional and calibrated.
Inspection & Testing
- Manage the inspection and testing of E&I work within the area of assigned responsibilities.
- Monitor the works of QC Inspectors under assigned authority.
- Conduct statistical analysis and evaluation of test data related to E&I works.
- Liaise and coordinate with third-party testing and inspection companies as required for E&I works.
Quality Control & Compliance
- Advise the QC Manager of non-conformance occurrences and, where necessary, raise Non-conformance Reports for non-compliant work.
- Monitor the closeout and effectiveness of corrections and corrective actions undertaken.
- Assist construction personnel to identify and resolve problems and potential or actual non-conformances related to E&I works.
- Assist the QC Manager in undertaking periodic audits, including those of sub-contractors and suppliers, with particular focus on technical compliance audits within the field of specialization.
Commissioning Support
- Assist in systems commissioning as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics or Instrumentation.
- Minimum 10 years total experience in Oil & Gas projects (preferably with ADNOC).
- Strong experience in Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecommunication.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
- Strong knowledge in Manufacturer and Vendor Documents review during design Engineering and Procurement phases.
