Role Purpose

Operate HIAB-equipped trucks safely and efficiently to transport, load, unload, and lift materials, equipment, and cargo at project sites, yards, and client locations while maintaining strict compliance with UAE regulations and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Vehicle Management

• Operate HIAB-equipped trucks safely and efficiently for transportation, loading, unloading, and lifting of materials, equipment, and cargo at project sites, yards, and client locations.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with company and UAE regulations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure all required documentation, permits, and inspection records are up to date.

Crane & Load Operations

• Operate the truck-mounted crane (HIAB) to lift, position, and place materials in accordance with approved lifting procedures and safety requirements.
• Ensure all lifting operations are conducted within the crane's rated capacity and manufacturer's guidelines.
• Follow approved lifting plans, risk assessments, and instructions from supervisors, riggers, and site personnel.
• Conduct routine checks on crane components, hydraulic systems, lifting accessories, and safety devices, reporting any defects immediately.
• Assist with loading and unloading activities when required, ensuring proper use of lifting equipment and accessories.

Safety & Compliance

• Secure loads properly before transportation and ensure cargo is transported safely without damage.
• Comply with UAE traffic laws, company driving policies, and project-specific safety regulations at all times.
• Report accidents, incidents, near misses, vehicle breakdowns, and equipment malfunctions promptly.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and site teams to ensure timely delivery and movement of materials and equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid UAE Heavy Driving License.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating HIAB trucks or heavy vehicles.
• Good knowledge of UAE traffic regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Ability to read and understand lifting instructions, delivery notes, and site requirements.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.
• Physically fit and able to work in yard, site, and remote project environments.
