Role Purpose

Operate and maintain a hotel shuttle bus to safely transport employees and colleagues between accommodation and hotel facilities. Ensure reliable, courteous service while maintaining vehicle safety standards, completing required documentation, and supporting the hotel's operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Transportation Services

• Pick up and drop off colleagues from accommodation to hotel and from hotel to accommodation in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Operate transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and passenger courtesy.
• Ensure familiarity with roads and landmarks in the UAE, especially Dubai.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all local rules of the road.

Vehicle Maintenance & Operations

• Clean and maintain the bus on a regular basis.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks on vehicles when necessary.
• Fuel the vehicle.
• Ensure periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported.
• Coordinate with the Transportation Team Leader on maintenance and operational matters.

Documentation & Reporting

• Review and update the logbook.
• Prepare trip reports.
• Prepare accident and incident reports as necessary.
• Report regularly on transportation activities to the Transportation/Employee Services Manager.

Service Standards & Customer Relations

• Maintain a smart, well-groomed appearance and friendly, cheerful disposition at all times.
• Resolve passenger complaints in a constructive manner.
• Ensure services are delivered to the required standard.
• Maintain positive associate relations.

Organizational & Team Support

• Cooperate with hotel departments including Housekeeping, Engineering, and Food & Beverage.
• Demonstrate awareness of daily hotel activities and product knowledge of all hotel facilities.
• Show full cooperation and respect within the team and across departments.
• Attend training classes as scheduled.
• Provide additional services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years of experience in a 4–5 star hotel or UAE driving experience.
• Valid UAE driver license.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with UAE roads, landmarks, and local traffic regulations.
• Customer service and conflict resolution.
• Clear communication and team collaboration.
• Professional presentation and interpersonal skills.
