Drainage Engineer

Role Overview

HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking a Drainage Engineer to join the engineering team. The role is based in Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose

The Drainage Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing drainage systems to support infrastructure and development projects, ensuring effective water management and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Analysis

• Develop drainage designs based on hydrological and hydraulic calculations.
• Perform feasibility studies and evaluate alternative drainage solutions.

Technical Documentation

• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports for drainage works.

Collaboration & Coordination

• Collaborate with project teams to integrate drainage solutions with other engineering disciplines.
• Support procurement processes by providing technical input on drainage equipment and materials.

Site & Installation Oversight

• Conduct site inspections and assist in supervising installation and testing of drainage infrastructure.

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in drainage design and engineering.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian local regulations and standards is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with drainage modeling and design software such as HEC-RAS, SWMM, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of hydrology, hydraulics, and environmental considerations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
