Role Overview
Senior Production Engineer at Group AMANA, DuPod production facility, UAE. Responsible for overseeing and optimizing manufacturing operations, achieving production targets, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining operational excellence and safety standards.

Role Purpose
To oversee and optimize manufacturing operations within the DuPod production facility, ensuring efficient execution of production activities, achievement of manufacturing targets, continuous improvement of processes, and maximum productivity, quality, and safety. The role works closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, and Project teams to ensure seamless production of modular units while maintaining DuPod's high standards of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
- Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
- Plan, monitor, and optimize production workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Support production planning activities, including manpower allocation, capacity planning, and workflow management.
- Review production drawings, manufacturing specifications, and work instructions to ensure accurate execution.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure smooth production execution.
- Collaborate with Maintenance teams to ensure machinery and equipment operate efficiently and reliably.
- Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure seamless production and operational alignment.
Performance Monitoring & Analysis
- Analyze production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and monitor production KPIs, including productivity, cycle time, quality, and resource utilization.
- Prepare regular production reports and provide recommendations to management for process improvements and cost optimization.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other operational excellence methodologies.
- Lead root cause analysis for production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Optimize production workflows and manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
- Maintain strong understanding of workplace safety practices within the manufacturing environment.
Leadership & Development
- Mentor and support production engineers, supervisors, and shop floor personnel to enhance performance and technical capabilities.
- Lead teams and coordinate cross-functional manufacturing activities.
Strategic Initiatives
- Support factory expansion initiatives, automation projects, and manufacturing innovation programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or industrial operations.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a senior engineering or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in modular construction, construction products manufacturing, prefabrication, industrial production, automotive, or FMCG manufacturing is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Production & Operations
- Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, capacity management, and manufacturing operations.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and production performance measurement.
- Ability to analyze technical drawings, manufacturing documentation, and process flows.
Technical & Systems
- Proficiency in ERP systems and production management software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
