Role Overview
Doctor Specialist A in Orthodontics at Emirates Health Services, based in the UAE.
Role Purpose
To deliver advanced orthodontic clinical care and leadership, managing complex treatment cases while mentoring specialist staff and maintaining compliance with emirate healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Practice
- Perform comprehensive orthodontic assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Conduct complex orthodontic procedures, including braces, aligners, and surgical interventions.
- Monitor patient progress, make adjustments to treatment plans, and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients on oral health, preventive measures, and post-treatment care.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of orthodontic specialists, providing guidance and support.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Collaborate with other dental specialists to provide holistic patient care, ensuring seamless coordination.
Professional Development
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in orthodontics and incorporate evidence-based practices.
- Commit to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest orthodontic trends.
Compliance & Safety
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with MOHAP guidelines.
- Ensure a safe and sterile environment during procedures, adhering to infection control protocols.
Qualifications & Experience
- UAE nationality is mandatory.
- Master's degree in Orthodontics from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an orthodontist with a proven track record of success.
- Valid professional license to practice orthodontics in the UAE.
- Valid MOHAP evaluation and approved Dataflow report for eligibility.
