Role Purpose

As Head of Solutions Delivery for KSA, Bahrain and Oman, you will drive new business and market opportunities while supporting long-term plans, new technologies, and industry-leading trends. You will generate card fees, benefits resell and other Visa revenues by driving affluent card issuance and retention, customizing value propositions across segments, and positioning Visa as the preferred choice of network partners and brand of choice by consumers.

Key Responsibilities

Products Sales and Revenue Generation

• Manage the primary objective of generating card fees, benefits resell and other Visa revenues across KSA, Bahrain and Oman.
• Drive affluent card issuance and retention.
• Customize value propositions across consumer segments.
• Position Visa as the preferred choice of network partners by Issuers and the brand of choice by consumers.

Strategic Leadership and Market Development

• Generate thought leadership around consumer products.
• Develop consumer segmentation strategies.
• Drive acquisition, profitable usage, payment volume and revenue through close collaboration with markets, key issuers and existing and potential clients and partners.
• Work across matrixed organizations effectively.
• Support new business and market opportunities and business plans.
• Conduct market analysis for the product and research requirements of the marketplace.
• Support consistency of new products with the organization's image and objectives.

Portfolio and Channel Management

• Optimize portfolio performance, including upgrades and performance tracking.
• Drive channel diversification.
• Promote Visa Digital solutions and innovations.
• Drive greater cross-border and e-commerce volume.
• Increase customer engagement with their Visa account to drive usage and preference.
• Combine product management experience with awareness of client needs.

Technology and Innovation

• Interact with systems, marketing, and sales in the product development stage.
• Support emerging technologies and industry-leading trends.
• Demonstrate digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.

Team Leadership and People Development

• Oversee Solutions Delivery team in the KSA, Bahrain and Oman cluster.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of strong people management.
• Contribute to creating Visa as an Employer of Choice through culture, place of work and collaboration opportunities that provide employees the opportunity for personal and professional development.

Stakeholder Management and Communications

• Function as a resource that interacts with systems, marketing, and sales.
• Deliver stakeholder education and training.
• Actively contribute to the overall development of the product function and Visa business.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience Requirements

• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD.
• Experience in developing and executing business development strategies in a complex and fast-paced environment.
• Experience in payments, transaction banking, financial advisory, or SaaS, having performed product sales and/or client-facing commercialization roles.
• Experience in cross-border account payments and with payment networks.
• Experience in developing domestic or cross-border payment flows business within growing markets.
• Experience in stakeholder education and training delivery.
• Experience in mobile, API, and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience in business development, sales, and deal structuring.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Operations, and Marketing.
• Experience in managing delivery of large technology projects, especially with direct oversight for delivery.

Preferred Experience

• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 6 or more years of work experience with a PhD.
• Experience in payments and/or financial services industry, with preferred experience in AI, cross-border money movement, card networks, and account-to-account payments.
• Experience in planning, managing, and closing complex commercial deals from negotiation to delivery.
• Experience in building executive-level communications and delivering presentations.
• Experience in implementing strategic initiatives, policies, and operational decisions.
• Experience in explaining complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences.
• Experience in working within a complex and often ambiguous environment, and influencing senior management.

Additional Information

Visa requires at least 3 days in office. Expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
