Role Overview
Director, Real Estate Advisory Group at Kroll, based in the UAE. The Real Estate Advisory Group provides expert advice across property asset classes, supporting clients in financing, secured lending, purchase price allocation, financial reporting, due diligence and property restructuring.

Role Purpose
Lead the property restructuring and valuation advisory team in the UAE, providing expert advice to lenders, stakeholders and property companies on performing and non-performing real estate. Drive business development, manage and mentor surveyors, and deliver valuation and restructuring expertise that brings clarity to clients' most complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Management
- Build new business opportunities for the advisory group.
- Lead, foster and cultivate new client relationships alongside Managing Directors to grow the valuation team.
- Manage day-to-day aspects of client relationships and projects.
- Demonstrable experience in nurturing and growing client relationships.
Valuation & Advisory Services
- Prepare and issue valuation advice across commercial and residential property, principally for secured lending, in line with RICS Red Book requirements.
- Undertake advisory assignments with a focus on Options Analysis and value recovery, particularly in relation to workout and insolvency scenarios.
- Undertake peer review of reports prepared by surveyors prior to issue to the client.
- Deliver expert knowledge of real estate generally, including valuation principles.
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage a team of surveyors in relation to instruction timelines and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Take an active role in training junior surveyors in the preparation of valuation and property advice.
- Assist with the efficient running of the business and any other tasks deemed necessary.
Restructuring & Asset Management
- To the extent required, assist in the delivery of LPA receivership and restructuring cases, blending valuation, asset management and transaction management skillsets.
Qualifications & Experience
- MRICS Qualified and RICS Registered Valuer.
- Post qualification valuation experience.
- Business development track record.
- Demonstrable experience in nurturing and growing client relationships.
- Track record of delivering expert knowledge of real estate generally, including valuation principles.
- Demonstrable experience with managing day-to-day aspects of client relationships and projects.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with report writing and proofreading capabilities essential.
- Superior interpersonal, communication, marketing, sales and organizational skills.
- Excellent research abilities.
- Ability to make effective decisions by analyzing information and considering priorities.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Diligent, conscientious and highly motivated with the ability to work to a demanding schedule in an entrepreneurial environment.
