Role Purpose

Lead the Quality Department to establish and drive quality strategies, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement across all projects and business functions, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and international best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Governance

• Lead and manage the Quality Department, setting quality strategies, objectives, and governance frameworks.
• Develop and implement Quality Management Systems (QMS), policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure alignment with contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and international best practices.

Quality Assurance & Control

• Establish quality assurance and quality control processes across projects and business functions.
• Oversee quality audits, compliance reviews, inspections, and performance assessments.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor quality KPIs, trends, risks, and improvement initiatives through effective reporting.

Leadership & Team Development

• Provide leadership and guidance to project quality teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Promote a strong quality culture across the organisation.

Continuous Improvement & Risk Management

• Drive continuous improvement, lessons learned, and corrective/preventive action programmes.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and project stakeholders to identify quality risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading quality functions within large-scale construction, infrastructure, engineering, or complex programmes.
• Strong knowledge of QMS frameworks, ISO standards, audit processes, and quality governance.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary quality teams and supporting major project delivery.
• Strong understanding of quality planning, compliance management, risk management, and performance improvement.

Additional Information

Preferred Experience

• Experience within PMC, client-side, or major capital programme environments.
