Role Overview

Director - Procurement - Residential at Qiddiya Investment Company. This is a leadership role responsible for procurement operations across the residential projects portfolio.

Role Purpose

Lead strategic procurement operations for residential projects, delivering high-quality materials and services while optimizing cost, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across the procurement function.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

• Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies aligned with company residential project goals.
• Oversee procurement planning, sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry innovations to capitalize on new opportunities.

Operations & Process Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and maximize value.
• Collaborate closely with project teams and other departments to forecast procurement needs and ensure timely delivery.
• Proficiency with procurement software and data analytics tools.

Compliance & Governance

• Maintain compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, including sustainability and local content requirements.
• Promote ethical sourcing and corporate social responsibility throughout procurement activities.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor the procurement team to achieve operational excellence and foster professional growth.
• Prepare and present procurement reports and metrics for senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related disciplines; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive procurement experience, preferably in large-scale residential construction or real estate projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in procurement strategy development and execution.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex supplier contracts.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of local content regulations and sustainability initiatives.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
