Director of Food & Drinks at Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay, a luxury hotel operated by Hilton. The role is based in Doha, Qatar.

Role Purpose
Lead and elevate the hotel's world-class dining operations by driving guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and financial performance across multiple food and beverage outlets while maintaining luxury service standards and building a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Commercial Leadership
- Define Food & Beverage operational strategy to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.
- Provide leadership direction for the Food & Beverage department ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and marketing.
- Drive revenue growth through innovative marketing initiatives and service enhancements.
Operations & Administration
- Plan and oversee administrative and operational functions of the department.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and policy implementation.
- Ensure seamless day-to-day operations across multiple restaurants and bars.
Cost & Financial Management
- Implement effective controls for food, beverage, and labor costs.
- Monitor financial performance to balance cost management with service excellence.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead large, diverse teams with demonstrated ability to drive engagement and retention.
- Drive performance management, professional development, and recognition programs.
- Cultivate a high-performing culture that delivers exceptional guest experiences.
Compliance & Standards
- Uphold compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
- Foster a culture committed to the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Director of Food & Beverage or Director of Food & Drinks in a luxury hotel environment.
- Proven experience managing at least 5 restaurants and bars within a luxury hotel or integrated resort.
- Previous Gulf region experience is essential.
- Preference given to candidates who have worked in the UAE and Qatar.
