Role Purpose
Lead the consolidation of financial statements across the group, ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards, and provide insightful financial analyses to support strategic decision-making. Your leadership will enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Consolidation
- Lead and manage the group accounting team to prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Accounting Policies & Controls
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure financial integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations, assessing their impact and driving necessary changes within the organization.
Compliance & Audit Coordination
- Ensure effective coordination with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and compliance reviews.
Strategic Advisory
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team.
Continuous Improvement & Development
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the group accounting function to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Mentor and develop accounting professionals within the group, fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Advanced degrees or professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in group accounting.
- Significant leadership experience in a similar role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS, financial consolidation, and regulatory compliance requirements.
