Role Overview

Director – Corporate Origination and Business Development at Mashreq Bank.

Role Purpose

To prospect, identify, and on-board new-to-bank borrowing corporate relationships within Large Corporates, Government, Public Sector, and GREs segments in line with Mashreq Bank's growth strategy, while developing comprehensive business propositions and managing client acquisition across Middle Market and enterprise segments.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Acquisition

• Prospect, identify, and on-board new-to-bank borrowing corporate relationships within Large Corporates, Government, Public Sector, and GREs segments.
• Manage business development and client acquisition for the Middle Market segment.
• Develop and execute focused group approach strategies for target segments.

Proposition & Strategy Development

• Develop proposition strategy aligned with Mashreq Bank's growth objectives.
• Conduct competition analysis to inform market positioning.
• Design service delivery models that enhance customer experience.
• Lead internal and external campaigns to promote products and propositions.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

• Partner with Risk to ensure alignment with Risk policies.
• Collaborate with Payment and Cash Management teams on integrated offerings.
• Work with Trade products teams to coordinate proposition development.
• Align propositions with Retail Banking, Private Banking, and SMEs segments.

Performance & Analytics

• Monitor client service quality through client surveys and feedback mechanisms.
• Develop and analyze value proposition metrics and analytics to measure effectiveness and inform strategy.
