Director, Category Strategy & Department Performance at Sucafina.
Role Purpose
Lead and manage a department category strategy, execution, and team performance to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
Category P&L & Performance
- Own category P&L performance and profitability
- Develop strategies increasing sales and market share
- Optimize assortment and pricing for margin gains
Supplier & Vendor Management
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiation outcomes
Team Leadership & Execution
- Deliver KPI-driven team performance and execution
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years category management or merchandising experience
- Proven leadership experience managing teams
- Strong analytical skills with retail and commercial KPIs
- Experience with pricing, assortment, and promotion planning
- Knowledge of procurement and vendor negotiation practices
