Role Overview

Digital Product Expert position with Mashreq, Injaz - RBG - Head + Product, Retail Banking Group.

Role Purpose

Partner with the Product Owner and Agile squad to translate product strategy and business requirements into working digital solutions and customer journeys, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure seamless execution of digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Product Definition & Requirements

• Define functional specifications, workflows, use cases, interfaces, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Gather and translate business requirements into clear, actionable software requirements.

Backlog & Roadmap Management

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog in line with the product roadmap.
• Ensure committed backlog items are completed within each sprint.
• Drive squad execution and ensure progress against product roadmap commitments.

Agile Execution

• Use technical expertise to actively contribute to sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives, and demos.
• Support testing, release readiness, and implementation activities.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategy

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, UX, Governance, Compliance, and other stakeholders.
• Identify technology opportunities that support business goals.

Qualifications & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in digital product, technical project delivery, business analysis, or software delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with requirements gathering, user stories, backlog management, and Azure DevOps.
• Technical experience in development or testing is an advantage.
