Role Overview

Digital Display System Operator at Cubic Defense. This role provides operations and maintenance for the P4-SAKITS Display/Debriefing Systems in accordance with applicable technical documentation.

Role Purpose

Operate and maintain P4-SAKITS Display/Debriefing Systems to support live exercises, mission replays, and debriefing operations. Provide technical assistance to RSAF and aircrews while maintaining accurate records and generating required status reports for mission effectiveness evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

• Load programs for operation and test.
• Operate the graphics terminals during live exercises and assist with display and control operations.
• Generate exercise status printouts as required by the RSAF; activate displays to enable printing of specified displays when hard copy printouts are required.
• Assist as required with P4-SAKITS F-15 operations and maintenance.

System Testing & Readiness

• Perform subsystem tests to assess operational readiness.
• Identify and report any aircraft that does not track or function properly to the P4-SAKITS pod shop for follow-up pod testing.

Data Management

• Load all pre-mission exercise data into the Data Transfer Device (DTD).
• Maintain a control log of DTD issue to and receipt from aircrews.
• Maintain and store records of mission tapes.

Record Keeping & Documentation

• Maintain a mission event log with specific, concise, and pertinent data entered under the following headings: date, time, mission/event, remarks, and operator; for mission replays, "mission replay" should be entered.
• Describe any system problems encountered during events briefly in the remarks column in sufficient detail to readily interpret the event.
• File all filled log books into the technical library.
• Ensure log books are readily available for on-site RSAF evaluations.

Stakeholder Management & Reporting

• Interface directly with the RSAF regarding mission sortie effectiveness.
• Ensure reasons for partially successful or unsuccessful missions and the system's operating status/conditions are noted for the record; this data is required for monthly status reports.
• Provide technical assistance to RSAF or aircrews in setting up for replay and debriefing.

Support & Compliance

• Perform additional operations duties as directed by the Site Supervisor.
• Support the set-up of project equipment when required.
• Work as one team and support colleagues with their duties when required to ensure successful provision of service to the customer.
• Comply with Cubic's values and adherence to all company policy and procedures, including code of conduct, quality, security, and occupational health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by manager from time to time as may be reasonably required.

Qualifications & Experience

• College qualification in Technical related field; or equivalent technical education and military experience.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated Arabic/English Bilingual Proficiency.
• Desirable: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent concentrations.
• Desirable: Saudi-Government-recognized Certificate of Arabic/English Bilingual Proficiency (STEP, TOEFL, or equivalent).
