Role Overview
DHA Specialist GP with Endocrinology focus at Metabolic Health, located at Al Barsha (Mall of Emirates area), Dubai, UAE and/or 268 Al Wasl Rd, Jumeirah 1, Dubai, UAE. This is a General Practitioner position within GluCare Integrated Diabetes Center, a pioneering healthcare facility delivering comprehensive, tech-enabled, and patient-centric care for individuals with diabetes and other metabolic disorders.

The facility is staffed by endocrinologists, health coaches, nutritionists, diabetes educators, and other specialists working collaboratively to provide holistic care.
Role Purpose
To provide high-quality primary care with a strong focus on diabetes and endocrine-related conditions within a tech-forward, patient-centered environment. The role combines clinical expertise in metabolic disorders with participation in a multidisciplinary team delivering continuous monitoring and personalized care plans.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Patient Management
- Provide high-quality primary care with strong focus on diabetes and endocrine-related conditions.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with chronic conditions including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders, PCOS, and other metabolic and endocrine issues.
- Monitor treatment outcomes, adjust medications, and provide preventive and lifestyle-oriented advice.
- Support patients in their diabetes education and self-management journey.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Work closely with endocrinologists, health coaches, nutritionists, diabetes educators, and other specialists in a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Participate in case discussions and training sessions.
Digital Health & Continuous Care
- Utilize GluCare's digital platforms and remote monitoring tools to support continuous care and patient engagement.
- Participate in developing and implementing personalized care plans based on patient data, behavior, and health trends.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure thorough documentation in the electronic medical records system and comply with GluCare's clinical protocols and standards.
- Understand, follow, and support all hospital infection control programs.
Quality & Professional Development
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on clinical guidelines and innovations in endocrinology and chronic care.
Qualifications & Experience
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- DHA License or Eligibility Letter as General Practitioner (GP).
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification clinical experience in the UAE.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in endocrinology or diabetes management is highly preferred.
- Prior experience in a multidisciplinary or tech-enabled healthcare environment is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
