Role Overview

DHA Registered Nurse and Laser Therapist at Ontime Healthcare for a new Brazilian clinic. The role delivers safe, high-quality nursing care and performs laser and aesthetic treatments within the scope of DHA license and approved privileges.

Role Purpose

Deliver professional nursing care and perform laser and aesthetic treatments in compliance with DHA regulations. Provide clinical support to physicians during aesthetic procedures, conduct patient assessments, educate patients on treatment plans and aftercare, and maintain accurate medical records and infection control standards.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Nursing Care

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with DHA standards and evidence-based practice.
• Assess patients and record medical history, allergies, medications, and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for consultations, aesthetic treatments, and minor procedures.
• Assist Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, and Aesthetic Physicians during clinical and cosmetic procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed by licensed physicians.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures and respond appropriately to any complications.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential patient records.

Laser & Aesthetic Treatment

• Perform laser hair removal and other approved laser procedures within the scope of the DHA license and clinical privileges.
• Conduct patient consultations and skin assessments to determine suitability for treatment.
• Explain treatment plans, expected outcomes, risks, benefits, and post-treatment care instructions.
• Obtain informed consent before carrying out laser procedures.
• Perform skin rejuvenation and other non-invasive aesthetic treatments as permitted by DHA and clinic protocols.
• Ensure proper operation, safety checks, and maintenance of laser equipment.
• Adhere to all laser safety regulations and infection control protocols.
• Document treatment parameters, patient responses, and follow-up recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Valid DHA Registered Nurse License.
• DHA Laser Therapist Privilege or License.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Additional certifications in aesthetic nursing or laser treatments are an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an aesthetic, dermatology, cosmetic, or plastic surgery clinic.
• Hands-on experience in laser hair removal and aesthetic laser procedures.
• Experience assisting with cosmetic procedures such as Botox, dermal fillers, PRP, skin rejuvenation, and minor dermatological procedures is preferred.
