Role Overview
Design Manager at JLL, based on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Design Manager will lead and supervise the Design Team and manage the design process from development through site execution.

Role Purpose
The Design Manager ensures the approved design is properly implemented on site through regular attendance, close coordination with contractors, consultants and stakeholders, and comprehensive oversight of the design execution process across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, manage and supervise the Design Team and Works execution on site.
- Supervise design teams and follow design execution on site.
- Support site inspections, snagging, close-out and final handover.
Design Deliverables & Coordination
- Manage design deliverables, coordination and approvals across multiple projects.
- Coordinate architectural, interior design, MEP and specialist requirements.
- Review design drawings, specifications, materials and technical submissions.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, samples, mock-ups and RFIs.
FF&E Project Management
- Oversee FF&E projects, including design development, material selection, procurement coordination, installation and handover.
Site Monitoring & Quality Assurance
- Attend sites regularly to monitor and supervise the execution of the approved design.
- Ensure the contractor's work complies with the approved drawings, specifications, materials and required quality standards.
- Follow up with contractors on design-related matters and resolve site issues in coordination with the relevant disciplines.
Progress Tracking & Risk Management
- Monitor design progress, identify risks and delays, and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Attend coordination and progress meetings and provide clear status updates.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
- 15–20 years of relevant experience, including solid experience in a Design Manager role and Site Supervision.
- Strong experience in design management, interior fit-out and FF&E projects.
- Proven experience supervising design teams and following design execution on site.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.

- Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
- Presentable demeanor.
- Proficiency in relevant design and project-management software.
