Role Overview
Design Manager - Interior Design at WSP in the Middle East.
Role Purpose
Support the delivery of high-quality interior environments across hospitality, residential, retail, and commercial developments through expert management of interior design consultants, design packages, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Design Management & Coordination
- Manage interior design consultants and specialist design packages.
- Coordinate interior design interfaces with architectural, MEP, and specialist disciplines.
- Support design development through all project stages.
Design Review & Quality Assurance
- Review design concepts, material selections, FF&E packages, and detailed design submissions.
- Ensure design solutions align with project vision, brand standards, and operational requirements.
- Monitor design quality, programme, and consultant performance.
- Assist with mock-up reviews and design approvals where required.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Participate in design reviews, presentations, and stakeholder workshops.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience delivering hospitality, retail, commercial, or residential interiors.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong design review and stakeholder management skills.
