Role Overview
Dermatology Nurse (Procedure) at Nahdi Care in Madinah (Position 202769). The role provides comprehensive nursing care in dermatology clinics utilizing the nursing process and meeting established standards of nursing practice and performance.
Role Purpose
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in dermatology clinics and emergency departments according to established policies and evidence-based practice. Prepare the clinic for effective physician use, manage patient documentation, and contribute to clinical quality outcomes and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Assessment
- Provide comprehensive nursing care as assigned according to established policies and evidence-based practice.
- Complete nursing assessment and document medical history from patients.
- Act as an advocate for patients and families.
Clinical Operations & Environment Preparation
- Ensure the clinic is ready for effective use by the physician from consumable material stock level and medical equipment standpoint.
- Maintain awareness of resource utilization, exercising care in the ordering and use of staff, equipment, and materials.
- Contribute to the achievement of cost efficiency savings on unit.
Safety, Compliance & Quality
- Comply with all policies, procedures, clinical protocols, standards, and guidelines based on legislation and evidence-based nursing practice.
- Comply with policies for personal and patient safety and for the prevention of healthcare associated infections.
- Promote a safe environment and safe patient care by embracing a safety culture.
- Report equipment failures, safety, security issues, and/or reduction of supply inventory to nurse supervisor.
- Contribute to the achievement of clinical quality outcome indicators and patient satisfaction.
Medication Management
- Adhere to Medicines Management for the safe keeping and administration of medication.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration
- Cooperate and work effectively with other professionals in the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
Professional Development
- Participate in self-education, training, and development as applicable.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree/Diploma in Nursing is required.
- SCHS license is required.
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties Licensure is required.
- Two years of clinical experience following the degree required; no experience required for Saudis with Bachelor's Degree.
Skills & Competencies
- Healthcare Information System.
- English and Arabic (fluent speaking).
Additional Information
- Work Environment: 100% indoors.
- Working Days: 6 working days per week.
- Days Off: 1 day off per week.
- Working Hours: 8 net working hours according to shift schedule approved by head of department.
- The employee's duties are not limited to the above-mentioned accountabilities; the manager can assign other duties based on business need.
