Role Overview

Department Manager – SKIMS, located in Riyadh, UAE, reporting to Al Tayer Group.

Company Overview

Al Tayer Group is a Dubai-based retail organization operating multiple brand departments across the Middle East.

Role Purpose

To manage and develop the department team to achieve high levels of revenue while maintaining brand image, operational compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Commercial Performance

• Drive sales and monitor performance metrics to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Identify commercial opportunities and make recommendations to leadership.
• Analyze stock management information to maximize sales opportunities.
• Monitor sales per square foot to ensure maximum productivity within brand and store specifications.
• Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activity and provide feedback and recommendations to the company.

Customer Service & Satisfaction

• Cultivate a culture of excellent customer service, leading by example.
• Resolve customer complaints effectively and promptly.
• Understand customer profiles and ensure feedback is provided to Marketing, Buying, and Planning teams.

Stock & Inventory Management

• Minimize stock loss through the management, implementation, and adherence of Al Tayer Group policies and procedures.
• Prepare and implement stock takes in store in liaison with the Operations team.
• Provide and analyze reports to gain understanding of current performance trends and ensure Buying and Planning teams are aware of stock-related feedback.

Promotions & Brand Management

• Recommend, manage, and support sales promotions and brand activities through effective planning and preparation.
• Ensure Visual Merchandising standards are maintained within brand guidelines.
• Implement company expectations of standards, maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Provide feedback to relevant parties on promotion outcomes.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all company policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to.
• Ensure company Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times.

Stakeholder Management

• Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with key business partners.

People Management

• Provide leadership and direction to team members toward the achievement of goals and objectives.
• Coach and motivate team to enhance performance and produce quality work.
• Ensure team members are continuously developed for higher-level roles.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience successfully running a profitable retail store.
