Role Overview
Demo & Delivery Specialist at Al Tayer Group, Dubai & Abu Dhabi, UAE. Coordinate between customers and internal departments to ensure smooth vehicle handover while delivering the highest standard of customer service in accordance with company sales policies and procedures.
Role Purpose
Manage the end-to-end vehicle delivery process by liaising between customers, PDI, sales, and logistics teams to execute seamless handovers, educate customers on vehicle features, and maintain accurate delivery documentation while upholding company service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Handover Coordination
- Liaise with PDI department on vehicle readiness and schedule handover appointments in coordination with the sales department.
- Prepare a Vehicle Configuration Record prior to vehicle delivery.
- Ensure handover of a vehicle outside the company when required, maintaining the same standards of customer service.
Customer Communication & Service
- Liaise with the customer including prior notification of delays, changes in requirements and specifications to ensure smooth conclusion of vehicle handover.
- Stay up to date on vehicle operational features, latest innovations, and technical and non-technical car-related information.
- Provide comprehensive explanation to new car owners about the vehicle with a view to improving customer experience.
- Ensure that the customer is aware of all available extras, accessories and warranties.
- Introduce the customer to the service department.
- Provide the highest degree of customer service and satisfaction at all times in accordance with company sales policies and procedures to maximize future recommendation or repeat sales.
Process Integration & Documentation
- Liaise with sales advisors on the registration process and coordinate with logistics for deliveries made via recoveries to ensure seamless integration of processes linked to vehicle handover.
- Ensure details of all vehicle transactions are accurately completed including delivery documents such as checklists, delivery notes, and extended warranty information.
- Record and register delivery transaction details with sales administration.
- Maintain accurate and timely records on delivery status, including sending a daily report of cars delivered to the line manager.
Teamwork
- Work as part of a cohesive customer-focused team to promote enhanced levels of customer service.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in any discipline or through automotive vocational route.
- Two years of experience in a customer service environment.
- Good knowledge of automobile sales gained through formal training or work experience.
